You may even construct the ultimate weapon by not simply using scp,
but using SSH as the underlying transport to rsync. Rsync is a very
educated replacement for rcp-style programs and can optimize the amount
of data actually transferred because it only transfers differences.
May not be of much use in a LAN (however its capabilities to recurse
and transport all file attributes are of help even here), but surely
is of use when updating a RADIUS server at a remote PoP or such.
