yeah, data calls should work fine,
the 4048 is basicly a 4002 + K56 + ISDN + DataCall,
and I take both modem and digital data calls on my 4048.

what cause code do callers get when they try to reach you?
you are using PRI and not Chan.T1, yes?
do you see the call ring on your max at all?
