RE: (ASCEND) GRF implementations

I did one with a GRF400, with 2 OC-3 cards(new rev), and an
Ethernet10/100
card without any problems... (IP,ATM,BGP,etc)... The only issue I have
is
with the filters... They work fine, BUT for SOME reason, quake (believe
it or
not) doesn't work with ANY filter installed. I think it is a bug in the

filterd software... If you put ANY filter in (Lets say, deny port 4444
to
host A) you get ICMP reassembly time exceeded in transit errors (Not
even
to the host specified in the filterd.conf!)... It is a nominal problem
that is kinda annoying, but otherwise, in my mind, it is a great router,
and has VERY NOTICEABLY helped speed the network in which it was
installed.

Anyone done any major GRF implementations?
And, did you experience any significant issues in the process or
aftermath?

Just an informational request here.
Thanks!
