RE: (ASCEND) caller id on PRI

Matt,

I have a PB PRI ISDN into my max2012 (5.0Ap33). The PB installer said
that there was no difference between a phone switch and a Max.

I did a little test. When I make a voice call from the PRI to a Cell
phone,
I do get the calling number.

If I put anything into {teco->Bill #} in the profile, then I do not get
the calling
phone number.

I have three phone numbers and wanted to be able to specify which one to
dial from. (No reason, just playing.)

So the Max does have some control over sending of the calling phone
number.

Steve LaDuke.
