(ASCEND) Dual IP on Max

I have a Max 4K connected to my ISP via the ethernet port using a /30
subnet. Can I use Dual IP to connect a /27 subnet to that port at the same
time like this:

  Max --- hub --- ISP (x.x.x.x/30)
                   |____local hosts (y.y.y.y/27)

...or do  I need a separate router?

If so, which of these addresses should be the main addr. of the box and
which should be the 2nd Addr?

I want the Max to use its y.y.y.y/27 address for RADIUS and logging. I have
the main ethernet address set to that now, but it is sending the 2nd Addr to
my RADIUS servers.
