Which was The Truth [tm] as of RFC950. It is no longer valid for
_more than a decade_ now. FMI: http://www.3com.com/nsc/501302.html

BTW: x.x.x.0 is by no means reserved. It just takes a /23 to make
half of the .0s pretty normal IPs in the middle of a net.
