Re: (ASCEND) Why TNT?
WHY TNT?
It's has a better backplane than the MAX, Load a 4004 up with 3 pri's
and attempt to do some serious OSPF routing or any other issue
that may tax the CPU like stacking on a 4004 and throughput goes down.
For me the TNT has these added advantages :
Command Line Interface
Better Backplane
Ease of management
Better Cooling
Redundant power
More Memory
More Processor
CT3 Card
More Density (Thus in my smaller pop's no need to stack)
That's just a quick list of the top of my head. It pretty much
boils down to the TNT is fundamentally a better box than the 4004.
