Re: (ASCEND) routing tftp - was P50 & forgotten password?
I've never had any trouble routing tftp to or from Ascend boxes (or Cisco
either). I frequently save configs and load new code in P75's and P130's
that are several router hops away from the tftp server.
I did have one problem (bug) with a Max that had a secondary IP address on
it's ethernet interface. It would tftp to a server on it's local net just
fine, but when going off net it would alternate which IP address it used as
the source of the tftp packets. This caused lots of retries and eventually
a timeout.
