(ASCEND) MAX 4004 with V6.0.2 can no longer take Windows NT connections

Since we upgraded to V6.0.2 on Saturday, we have been getting many calls
from customers who use Windows NT V4.0 that say that they can no longer
connect to our Max 4004s. They all receive a Disconnect code of c=35,
which is "MPP - no NULL msg timeout". However, we have disabled MPP
support under Answer->Encapsulation. They all seem to have the same
problem. They state that they get connected for about a minute and then
get booted off. I am not sure how these users initiate MPP from their
client side. Do they need to turn something off?

The modems used differ from internal to external and some using 56Kb X2
modems. I have been successful myself in using Windows NT 4.0 SP3 using
my 33.6 US Robotics Sporster modem.

I really like the functionality of V6.0, but if I cannot get this resolved
then I will have to back track to 5.0Ap48. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

	Thanks,
		Neil :-)
