(ASCEND) GRF HiPPI ATM Tunnel
Hi,
I'm just about to try out an HiPPI over ATM Tunnel
with two GRF1600 and run into some problems:
my setup is:
Host1(HiPPI)--GRF1--OC12--GRF2--Host2(HiPPI)
Slots on the GRF1600's are as follows:
1 - ATM OC12c
8 - HiPPI
In the card profile on both GRF1600's I
made this tunnel entries:
enable = enabled
port = 1
vci = 36
credits = 30
watermark = 15
connect-to = 3
init-to = 10
crdt-rx-to = 10
crdt-tx-to = 10
interface = 0
tracestats = 1
vpi = 0
In /etc/gratm.conf my entry looks like:
PVC ga010 0/36 proto=raw input_aal=5 dest_if=ga080 dest_vc=0/50
The above settings are from an old GigaRouter documentation.
In the new 1.4.6 manual I found nothing on HiPPi Tunnels...
GRF1 has crashed once after inabling the tunnel
The connection is not set up.
The only good thing is that GRF2-HiPPI rx-led indicates
incoming traffic when pinging from Host2.
All other led's remain dark.
What's my mistake ?
Are there known problems with HiPPI Tunnels and ATM OC12c ?
