I too hope that this is just the prelude to the real docs being available
in PDF or PostScript, after all Ascend has been printing this stuff for
including
in new units shipped, and the PDFs have aparently just been "Print to
Acrobat" copies.

agreed, if Ascend doesn't want them on their web site,
I believe Jason Nealis offered to put them on his FAQ site.
I always hate to have to say it, but: "Cisco does this already" in HTML and
PDF,
and they keep all the old versions available after new releases...
