The Supra Express has been hit and miss for us as well.  We make sure they
are running the latest firmware and drivers and they still don't connect
most of the time.  The Supramaxes(another diamond modem) also perform better
with 56flex than v.90 it seems.  The only thing I know to do is to tell them
to put in +ms=11 in the extra settings for them modem and they connect fine
at v.34  Sometimes a comma or two will make the connection more often but
still not very consistent.
