13 maxen, 5500+ users, 95% linux based.

Our main servers are all RH 5.0 net-booted to a Netapp fileserver.

Very, very fast and reliable. Extremely easy to reconfig a server.

RH has it's stuff together.

The rest of the network is various versions of linux (because I am too
lazy to upgrade 20 servers), SunOS and FreeBSD.

The administration and maintenance of a RH 5.0 box is very simple, very
stable and I have the source code if there are bugs. :-)

Porting to RH 5.0 has proven to be _very_ easy on the Intel platform,
slightly harder on the Alpha.

BTW, we run Linux on intel, alpha and Sparcs as well. The AAC for SunOS
4.1.4 will run JUST FINE on Sparc-Linux, thank you. :-)

Cordially,
