We currently have 14 Maxes, 2 TNT's, 5 remote USR dialback cable systems, and (3) 2 way cable modem systems. We are going full steam in the cable business and expect to have over 100K subscribers by the end of the year.

We only use FreeBSD for our servers (abt15) and 2 NT servers for those who need that.
BSDI is good for those who need some sort of traditional support and don't want to learn how to make their own kernel.
Why should I have to pay for that just becouse I need to buy your comercial program? I can't tell you how trivial it would be to port to FreeBSD and Linux from your BSDI code.

Bang for the buck I would put FreeBSD and Even BSDI up against any System 5 UNIX.
