(ASCEND) NAT Help - 1st experience

Haven't had a need to set up NAT, but came across a client site that
already has an existing illegal scheme that they insist on keeping.

Here's the config:

My end: Max2024 - 6.0
Client end: Pipe 50 - 5.1A
connection: ISDN

I turned on NAT/single IP on the P50. My question is, what do I set the
Pipeline's IP Address to be - an illegal address (192.168.100.254/24) or a
legal address (198.145.76.97/26)? Can I just give it a second address -
i.e, IP Addr=198.145.76.97/26 and 2nd Address=192.168.100.254 so I can
still telnet to it from my side?

what do I set the LAN Address to on the MAX side of the connection?

I guess if someone could just explain exactly what I need to do to make
this work, I'd be set.

Thanks,
