Which valid IP address? The remote end's ip (my MAX) or the LEGAL address I

Does anyone know how to set up the MAX side?
The manual for the Pipeline says that the MAX must assign a dynamic
address. Is this true? So every time the connection is established, NAT
potentially uses a different address (single IP translation used)?
