(ASCEND) Problem with Max Classic & 4.6Ci28

Hi,

we're running an "old" Max Classic/1600 with the 4.6Ci28 software release 
(which appears to be the last for the box apart from the 4.6Dp tree - but 
my single attempt to install 4.6Dp4 failed & I never tried again).

I get regular warnings in the fatal-error log with messages in the line of

Should I worry or just ignore that stuff?

Also, allowing Stac compression for sessions will make the Max reset after 
a couple of minutes (I know the Max Classic has no compression hardware, but 
the system should at least stay stable)...

Last, as I couldn't install the 4.6Dp4 software, I sometimes wonder if I 
really have a Max Classic (we bought the machine used), but I guess, a 
system with two Net/E1 ports and two Host/Dual ports fits the description...
