(ASCEND) Bugfixes -- how long does it take?



How long should I wait for a bugfix before I just give up and return my P75?  I bought it a month and a half ago with the expectation of using NAT with an NT dialup server.  This has never worked.  Ascend support had the issue for a month and got nowhere.  Finally, I posted the stuff here and Kevin was nice enough to help diagnose the problem (an ascend bug) 2 weeks ago.  Of course, I've still heard nothing from support (though I keep pinging them).

Its bad enough that I bought a P75 less than 2 months ago and found out it was already outdated (since I got the "old" P75, not the "new" P75).  Its even worse when it continues to be a very expensive paperweight.

Has anyone actually had a good experience with Ascend support?  If so, what are the magic incantations to get things moving?  How many small mammals must I sacrifice?
