Try this on for size! I have found some Rockwell chip modems, Zoltrix
and Zoom have been 2 that readily come to mind that the following trick
works
1:Set the dialer to open the terminal screen after dialing.
2:When the screen come up hit the "enter" key 1 stroke!
3: Hit the close (or OK) button to close thscreen and let the PAP OR
CHAP take over and do it's thing. Had to do this with my Zoltrix on one
computer and several zooms on Win 3.1 and Win 95.
