Oh yeah, I remember you wanted to hear about it. Well, it was fairly cool,
Ben and Clay talked about TCLUG, Tom (Cross) talked about SCALUG, and some
guy from IBM wanted us to buy $10,000 servers. We didn't.

It was kinda slow-moving, we had to sit through a lot of noodles to get
the good part (Brian Sparks of Caldera). And yeah, he's a cool guy, for a
CEO -- more of a geek than a droid. :) He showed us how to defuse Windows
and make it boot into DOS 7.0. He also had a 200-line program (which
they're going to release GPL) that makes it possible to run Windows on top
of DR-DOS. Cool, if pointless (it's purpose is mainly to make a point in
their court case against MS).

Yeah, and the commercial was pretty cool. It's actually going to air in
some parts of the country. It was a guy who dreamed at night that he set
his company up with Linux and of course Linux kicked NT's butt.

I'm going to kick NT's butt myself, pretty soon.

Putting on my heavy boots,
Chris :)
