hi,
    I currently have a pc with an AIC 7895 on the board, however I needed an
LVD drive so I got an adaptec 2940U2W (it uses the AIC 3860 chipset).  The
BIOS detects both controllers but linux does not.  Adaptec will not help me
so I am asking if any of you no where I  can get a driver (most likely third
partry).
