Re: [TCLUG:22810] sound card recommendation



I believe the Creative Soundblaster PCI512 is a good choice.  It has support
(in non PNP mode) in the linux 2.2.17 kernel (emu10k1 module), and perhaps
in the 2.2.16 kernel.  I personally prefer the ALSA drivers, which will work
in PNP mode and seem a litte more modern.
