I don't think so.   Perhaps you did not comprehend my statement.

I was talking about Enlightenment - which now has a goal of being multiple
platform - or simply put - UNIX.  OpenSSH did not have such a goal.  It was
to work under OpenBSD.  Outside interest is what brought other Unixes into
the fold.  The developers were developing on OpenBSD for OpenBSD to make an
OpenSSH package.  They did that.  The fact that it is now available for
other Unices is a bonus.  The argument that the old software worked on most
platforms "as is" is bogus.  It still does and there is nothing stopping
your from using it, except perhaps the license :-)

If I write a piece of software for FreeBSD - because that is where I am
going to use it - who is to complain?  If you want it - port it.  It is Free
and I didn't write it for you anyway.  I wrote it for me to use on FreeBSD.
You are lucky that it is under the BSD license - or you wouldn't have it at
all.

So, that illustrates my point.

From here on, I will *try* to avoid future flames or misguided trolls.
