(ASCEND) NavisRadius 3.1 Beta

Lucent is currently preparing to begin a closed beta of NavisRadius 3.1.  If
you are interested in joining please read.


Supported Platforms:
	Red Hat Linux 6.1
	Sun Solaris Sparc 2.6 and above
	Sun Solaris X86 2.6 and above
	Windows NT 4.0.  


NavisRadius 3.1 is Java based and requires JAVA 1.2.2 on the listed
platforms (available at http://java.sun.com/ for download). If you have a
platform other than those listed above you may still apply for a beta
position but such slots are limited. ( Note that NavisRadius 3.0 required
Java version 1.1.7 or 1.1.8. This older release of Java is not compatible
with NavisRadius 3.1)

	** Port Limit Checking based on definable criteria

+ The bundled Sybase server will not be available in early 3.1 beta releases

A high level of participation will be required in this beta.  Familiarity
with shell script or basic programming will be extremely helpful.   Please
note that participation in the beta does not necessarily result in a free or
reduced price copy of the software.
