When you have an Ascend talking to an Ascend, it works something like this:
Pipeline calls to Max on primary number
Max tells Pipeline what # to call for additional channels
The trick, is to put the BRI in the same group on the Max
For example, we have 1 customer that's paying for a 4 channel dedicated ISDN
connection. We configure 2 BRI in the same group. If the customer were
using Ascend (or something compatible), they would only have to specify a
single dial number and their router would obtain additional number
automagically.
