(ASCEND) ISDN bonding across BRI

I have a Max800 with 2 ISDN cards, and would like to give out only 
one number for all users to use any of the 4 channels. Is this 
something the box can handle by itself with "Add-on numbers" or 
does it require the phone company to build a hunt group out of the 
two BRI?

I asked GTE and they said my equipment should handle that and 
building a hunt group was unnecessary. I don't, howver, see how 
the Max will present the same "calling number" to the remote 
Pipelines on outgoing calls, nor how the remote Pipelines will 
reach the second BRI if the one they are calling has both channels 
already in use. Won't thyey just get a busy signal becuase the 
Max can't see the incoming request?
