Re: (ASCEND) Frame on Pipeline



Hi Geoff,

According to the user guide the serial WAN data rate is determined by the clock
speed received from the link. The maximum acceptable clock is 8 Mbit/s. The
clock speed at the serial port has no effect on the the bandwidth of the other
WAN interfaces.

RS-232 9-pin AT style connector pinouts

1  Carrier detect          CD
2  Receive data            RXD
3  Transmit data           TXD
4  Data terminal ready  DTR
5  Signal Ground          GND
6  Data set ready          DSR
7  Request to send        RTS
8  Clear to send            CTS
9  Ring indicator            RI
