(ASCEND) telstra rsoft restart and max 7.0.3

Hi
I have a problem with my max 6000 running 7.0.3 - all seems fine except
with regard to Aust Telstra doing a soft reboot of my Onramp service. This
happend last week due to the local exchange having an upgrade (9 hours off
line) and again last night (1 hour off line) due to an exchange having a
total restart. My max just sits there with the Alarm light on and trunk
down on the telnet window.

I suspect there is a prob with this version of the OS but as all else seem
fine I dont wish to upgrade and brake other stuff. 

any sugestions / recom. appreciated.
