Re: (ASCEND) pipeline 50 unexpected dial-out



It has been a while since I have looked  into this and maybe someone can 
provide specific guidance but what you can do is go the Pipeline and 
capture the packet that is causing the dialout to occur.  Then go to a 
decoder site and insert the packet for decoding.  What you will see is the 
source and destination IP address and the port number.  This URL will 
provide specific details on how to accomplish this.

Next you will need to write an appropriate call filter to prevent the 
pipeline from making an outbound call in response to these packets.  Ascend 
used to have a lot of call filter examples on their web site.

Hi,yes, the NT cause the broadcast, you can do a call filter, that will 
allow only requests of certain ports (80,
DNS, FTP, ...), so i myself didn't try it yet.
