We are using the free Ascend Radius software running on a HP-UX system.  We
wrote two or three unix based parsing tools.  Then we setup cron jobs to run
those programs: nightly, weekly, and monthly.  That way we can bill back to
our customers the hours that they were connected.

Right now I have virtually nothing and my accounting files are growing at 
alarming rates.
