The only thing I am aware of the Ascend server supporting that the Lucent
server does not is the Ascend filter attributes.  Those two attrbutes are
completely non-compliant with the RFC - new data types entirely - so most
servers don't support them.

Other than those two, the other Ascend attributes are standard data types
and you can merge the dictionaries.
