One point that some seem to be missing. The way that combo news/mail groups
work is that anything posted to one, automatically gets posted to the
other. So you don't have to monitor them both.

Thus my point earlier about filtering the mail. If you don't want to see
spam and cross-posting, keep subscribed to the mail list. The mail list can
be configured to reject those.
