RE: (ASCEND) Different Ip Pools

The max can dish out any IP addresses to dialup users, it doesn't
matter what the ethernet IP is, as long as you have taken care of the
routing for the dialup IPs, either via static, RIPv2, or OSPF, it will work
fine.

currently, our max ethernet IPs are in 195.89.181.x and the dialup pools are in 212.56.33.x .. no problems. (though the 195.89.181.x will be gone soon..)

Is there anything special? Our Max has his Ethernet IP-Address
in our 195.88.44'er Class-C and the IP-Pools comes from a
195.211.35'er Class-C. The routes are announced via OSPF to the Ciscos
and they learn to reach the Pool-IP's via the Max's Eth-Address.

Am I doing something wrong?

 Sascha
