(ASCEND) Monitoring P50/P75 with MRTG

I am having problems monitoring ISDN lines using MP+.
using: Target[line1]: 5:test1@www.xxx.yyy.zzz + 6:test1@www.xxx.yyy.zzz
works just fine to plot the total bandwidth of both channels, untill
something happens
to force a reconnect with the server, then the ports change without
notice.
Target[line1]: 7:test1@www.xxx.yyy.zzz + 8:test1@www.xxx.yyy.zzz then
becomes
the working set, untill the next time it decides to increment the port
numbers on me
or they reset back to 5 & 6 and start over.

Can anyone recomend a solution to this problem, I feel I am overlooking
somthing simple.
