Ken, I just grabbed a small apache web log from my system (the closest I
had to *your* 22Mb was one 18.2Mb) - compression ration 89.2%

A slightly larger file, 1,929,719,143 bytes (1.9Gb) compressed 84.7% down
to 294Mb, and others I checked in the range of 1Gb to 4Gb turned in
compression ratios variously between 84% and 88%, so it's pretty
consistent compression ratios for that kind of log file.

I'd say their claims are entirely reasonable :-)
