You can do SNMPgets on several WAN parameters, if you MAXen
are running 6.0.x code.  These parameters are non-existent in 5.0 branch.
Get Ascend's MIB from the ftp site and look at the advanced.mib,
which includes :

	wanLineActiveChannels
	wanLineAvailableChannels
