(ASCEND) Script for updating firmware on a pipeline 50

Hello,

I'm looking for a (perl-)script, which loads an configuration-file or a new
firmware over tftp on a pipeline 50. As I want to upgrade over 300
pipelines, I do no want to do it manually. I know that you can do this job
with NaviAccess but I do not want to purchase it just for uploding new
firmwares. I have started writing a perl-script with the net::telnet Modul,
but it doesn not work. Can anyone help me?
