(ASCEND) Expect Script for ascend Max

Dear all , 

Cud anyone help me out here ... 
I am fairly green  in expect scripting in  .. I have some knowledge in
Ascend MIF , but I have problems send the control Sequence ( ESC [ ESC ! )
from the expect script to the Ascend max ... 

Please help ..
