RE: (ASCEND) Need NAT configs/help for Pipeline 75

We have a P-75 configured with NAT to our ISP, and no NAT for WAN
connections to other offices. I will attach a file for you to review
privately.

Subject: (ASCEND) Need NAT configs/help for Pipeline 75

Greetings,

I am attempting to config a Pipeline 75 to do single-address NAT, and have
been unsuccessful after many attempts. The Pipeline is running system 6.02,
and I am connecting to a MAX running 5.0Ap36. I followed the directions
on http://www.ascend.com/895.html

It appears that when I show ip routes, there is no information
regarding the IP address assigned to my Pipeline from the ISP, nor is
there any table of information detailing NAT. Routing within the
192.168.0.0 network works just fine, but there are no routes
out of the WAN interface. When I turn NAT routing off (fixing the
ethernet addresses to assigned values) then routing to the WAN is
fine.

Could someone out there who has NAT currently working on a Pipe75
(preferably one running 6.02) please send me the results of a
save-config? It might tell me what I'm missing. Any other hints would be
helpful as well.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
