Sure can. You can connected DSL TNT's via SDSL, SDSL Pipelines together,
or DSL Max 20's via SDSL. Not only that, but you can use MultiLink Frame
Relay (MLFR) to Imux multiple SDSL lines and achieve aggregate bandwidth
(SDSL-HS = 2.34Mbps X number of SDSL trunks you build). The performance
on MLFR over SDSL is very good and very stable. You can also do this
functionality over T1 using the FrameLine cards on the TNT or the FL8
cards on the Max20.

for the most part, FR over DSL is preferred. You can do PPP, but you
lose a bit of control in terms of CIR and if you're doing FR in the
core, you can do DLCI to DLCI mapping, giving yourself end to end QoS
for DSL. It's also a bit faster on the link.

nope. We're doing *LOTS* of this with great results. Kudos to all the
Ascend folk who've worked tirelessly on making this work and work great.
I wish all code would work this smoothly for everyone.

profiles are very simple. Basically setup the conn profile, assign
DLCI's on both ends and voila! You're done. Doing DLCI to DLCI mapping
is a bit more involved, but not too hard. Best place to get this info is
talk to your Ascend SE.
