Re: (ASCEND) Max not routing



Couple of quick things, try to make sure the win 98 machine does not
have a dialup networking config that forces the netmask as 255.255.255.0
for the dialup networking profile you use to connect with the max. (You
probably have verified this already). Take a look at the max and see if
it has RIP enabled, normally RIP send v2 will be sufficent on some
networks. Try checking the router to make sure the routes are entered
correctly. And of course with a user connected to the max unit, try
doing a traceroute on the ip, that should tell you if anything at which
point the routing appears to end.
