Read my post again.

We run a PRIVATE NFS-BONE for all servers to mount from, 100MB full duplex
with three interfaces in the NFS server and a 100MB full duplex baystack
switch dedicated to JUST NFS.

Each server has at least two ethernet cards (as fully described in my
previous email).

The Internet traffic does not (and in fact can not) traverse the NFS bone.

Ethernet traffic is actually about 6 times normal (on the NFS bone) but is
quite easily handled with zero collsions by the 100MBIT switch.
