Re: (ASCEND) ISDN w/o PRI?



A 56K call over an ISDN circuit transits the network using the CSD (circuit
switched data) protocol. This protocol can be carried over any 56K access
line whether ISDN or not. So the switch does the translation from ISDN to CSD.
