(ASCEND) NavisAccess and Bad Count



Under Modem Utilization->Modem Pool->Busy Modem Pool and Modem
Utilization->Modem Pool->Available Modem Pool NavisAccess is reporting
values in the Bad Count column.

The online help says "Bad Count The number of time modems in the modem
pool failed." What does that exactly mean? Where can I figure out why
the modem failed? How can I fix the problem?

I am running a Max 4002 with 6.0.0 tim.m40.
