(ASCEND) strange 4048 K56 behavior
We just received a new shipment of 4048s (SN807####) (running 5.0Ap42) and
I noticed a strage thing while the telco was activating the circuits
(these are not PRIs). The modem cards were changing state between "K56
Modem-16" to "Empty" to "Not Avail".
Right now the telco is running a few tests on the line (before they
activate them) and one of my cards is "Not Avail". I had to reboot my
last box before all the cards came back to life..
I have read of "power difficulties" with the 56K cards and older boxes.
What is the story for these?
