That guy obviously thinks he has a scoop on some rumor that you guys have
also heard. It's *not* an official announcement and he even has a 
few inaccuracies in it. They did *NOT* approach us to verify the content.

Pretty poor editorial in fact. Since when did Ascend acquire FORE systems?:

"Sources said Ascend will migrate features from its higher-end products, 
such as the ASX-1000 ATM backbone switch, to enhance the feature set of its 
flagship Max line"

The ASX-1000 is a FORE product. Loses integrity in my estimation.

He's guessing.
