(ASCEND) Sportster 56k -- Will it work?
I have a customer that has a new USR Sportster 56k modem. The problem
seems to be that he can't get a stable connection when dialing into our
Max4000's which are full K56Flex. He can dial in, connect, but when
downloading files it just disconnects him. However, if he dials into an
analog modem pool, and downloads the same files he can do it with no
problem. I was wondering if there was an AT string or something that he
can try, or if it is just impossible for a USR running X2 to connect to a
K56Flex Max at speeds of 28.8 or 33.6?
