Amen.  Ditto, me too, and same here.  Of course, if they *ask* us, we tell
'em to buy K56flex modems, but a LOT of customers are buying or upgrading
to x2 because the retail stores push them heavily and they get good press.
Most are willing to wait until that day when everyone can live in peace
with an ITU standard (yeah, right), but in the mean time, we have several
x2 ISP's in town, we're pretty much the lone K56 provider, and we're
seeing more and more defections because the x2 modems don't work for squat
here. 

Anyone having any luck getting x2 to work well with a Max, especially
with CT1, I'm sure we'd ALL like to hear about it.
