I think the response from Ascend Support may clarify this once and for
all. Below is a portion of an email I received from Ascend in response
to my question about when single address NAT will be available in the
new P50/75:

When you refer to the "single address NAT functionality," I'm guessing
that
you're referring to the implementation of NAT which will provide
translation for a number of machines on the Ethernet while requiring
only a
single address to be provided dynamically, or what we commonly refer to
as
"one to many NAT." You are correct, this functionality did not make the
5.0B release. The 5.0B release is an interim release for the new
hardware
model of the P50/P75. We are expecting 5.1A software to be released very
shortly, probably in the next 2 weeks, which will have a release for
both
the old hardware, as well as the new hardware, and it will incorporate
all
of the new features introduces in the 5.0Ai incremental branch of
software,
including one to many NAT.

Not that it's worth much, but you have my personal apology for this
unfortunate situation. With 15 million packages in the system at the
time of the strike, if management can deleiver 1 million per day (which
is about what we're averaging right now), it'll take 15 days to clear
the system. Hopefully the strike will be resolved sooner than that.
