Re: (ASCEND) Linux, Ascend & IS



I used to use a motorola bitsurfer pro and a Linux box to dial into our
Max4000s at work.  It worked fine for the most part, and acted like a true
blue modem.  I wonder if this person is using a PPP chat script or DIP,
and what terminal adapter he's using.  Anything funky, other than the OS
(Linux/BSD Variants are my personal OS of choice).  My network at home is
a pipe50 with various linux, BSD, and windows machines on it that got
routed through the Linux box with the Bitsurfer before I bought the
Pipeline, and I never had any serious problems.
